Tens of thousands of visitors use many gigabytes of video bandwidth here every month to watch our free videos, and the Drive-In is becoming more popular every day. That directly affects our costs. For the first five years the Drive-In was open, we sold some books online and assumed the rest of the cost ourselves, but our web site's continuing success made that economically unfeasible.

We believe our reasonably DVDs provide genuine value to our fans, while supporting the web site with products that are aligned with their interests (and ours).

- Because of visitor support through DVD sales, we've been able to not only keep the Drive-In web videos rolling, we've been able to expand our library of on line videos, including such new films as "The Fighting Lady," the AT6/SNJ, "Introduction to Dive Bombing," "Target for Tonight," the Stearman NS2m TBF/SNJ and the Me 262 pilot's handbook. We've also been able to upgrade our video compression software to improve the quality of our online video streams. Perhaps most importantly from a viewing quality standpoint, we've been able to provide more broadband video features at the Matinee.
